We are so glad that you want to start (or continue) your child's educational path at Advent. To attend Advent, each student must apply by going through the application process. Please remember, if you have any questions along the way, the staff at Advent is more than glad to help.

Parents are welcome to submit an application for their child as early as they would like but prekindergarten applications submitted by December 1, 2019 and kindergarten through 8th grade applications submitted by December 20, 2019 will receive priority admission status. We will continue to accept applications after December for all grades on a rolling basis as space permits but encourage you to complete your application early!

While many of our students enter Advent in prekindergarten and kindergarten, we do accept students at all grade levels each year. To be considered for Pre-Kindergarten, a student must be 4 years old by October 1.
Applying to Advent involves three separate steps: Visit, Apply, Assess.


We believe visiting our campus and seeing our students engaged in meaningful learning is the best way to experience our school. All prospective families are encouraged to take a campus tour, attend an Open House, or join us for an on campus workshop throughout the year.


The second step is the application phase. A completed application includes:

  1. Main Application Form: Click the link to complete the online Application.
  2. Application Fee: A $100 application fee must be paid to submit the main application form.
  3. Recommendations: Our pre-kindergarten and kindergarten applicants are required to submit a general recommendation. Applicants for our first through eighth grade program are required to submit a teacher and personal recommendation.
  4. Testing: After the main application has been submitted, applicants will be scheduled for admission testing on campus.
  5. Parent Interview: Parents will interview with a member of our admission staff. The goals of this interview is to learn more about your child and your educational goals for them.
  6. Student Interview: Applicants will have an opportunity to talk with either a member of the admission staff or one of our faculty members during one of their on campus visits.
Once the school has received and the applicant has completed all items on the admission "checklist", the application is complete.


The final step of the process is the assessment phase. All completed applications are reviewed by our admission committee.
