Advent offers recreational and competitive soccer through a partnership with Birmingham United Soccer Association and Highlands School. Our soccer program competes in the Central Alabama Soccer League (CASL) and the BUSA recreational league. Soccer is open to ALL students PK through the 8th grade.

Through the partnership with BUSA we have access to soccer fields and staff soccer coaches. Soccer teams are mainly coached by parent volunteers under the guidance of the athletic director. The Advent soccer program focuses on player development and skill building. We implement futsal training with our teams to build specific skills faster like passing, shooting and dribbling in an indoor setting.

Soccer is our second largest sport with an average of 55 student-athletes participating each season. Soccer is the only sport that is offered both in the fall and the spring. Students are encouraged to participate in both fall and spring seasons.

The registration deadline for all age groups for soccer is FRIDAY, AUGUST 7, 2021.
