Our NEW Tower Garden

Our rooftop gym at the Advent now has a state-of-the-art vertical aeroponic growing system called a Tower Garden! We have planted cucumber, lettuce, eggplant, peppers, and basil. The significance about the Tower Garden is that it not only grows fresh, nutritious produce, but it is easy and smart to do. It saves space, water, and maintenance. The Tower Garden recycles earth minerals and water, allowing the plants to use as little as 5 percent of the nutrients and water that is commonly used in conventional and organic farming. The students at the Advent will learn about how vegetables grow and will watch the progression of the seedlings from plant to harvest. We are excited about this new addition to the school! If you have questions or interest in learning more contact hscroggins@adventepiscopalschool.org
