Join us for "Panther Tales," a delightful morning filled with storytelling magic and a glimpse into the heart of our school.

Event Highlights:

  • Storytime: Be with us at 8:30 a.m. in our Advent Library, where imagination takes flight with a captivating story, craft project, and a special treat.

  • Curriculum Insights: Chat with our school leadership and learn more about our Early Childhood curriculum's unique offerings.

  • Campus Tour: Post-storytime, at 9:30 a.m., Admission Counselor Lelia Carlson will lead optional 30-minute tours of our school so you can see the magic happening inside our classrooms.

"Panther Tales" will take place three times this year: October, November, and January. Choose your date or experience them all!

New: We have added a final “Panther Tales” Story Time on April 23, open to both prospective families and students who will officially be coming to Advent in the fall of 2024! This special story time will highlight the French program, a key part of every student’s Advent experience from JPK to 8th grade.

  • April 23, 8:30 a.m. - A Book for Escargot

    Join us for a story time to to celebrate Advent’s French program!

    Story time will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Advent Library. We’ll enjoy A Book for Escargot by Dashka Slater and illustrated by Sydney Hanson. In this book, Escargot the little French snail goes on an adventure in the library looking for a book where a snail is the hero. After our story, we’ll make a fun craft and enjoy special French treats!

    Members of our school leadership team will be available to answer questions about Advent’s Early Childhood curriculum. Admission Counselor Lelia Carlson will offer optional school tours at the end of our time together. Tours will start at 9:30 a.m. and should take around 30 minutes.

  • January 11, 8:30 a.m. - The Snowy Day

    Join us for a special story filled with wintertime wonder!

    Story time will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Advent Library. We’ll enjoy The Snowy Day by American author and illustrator Ezra Jack Keats. This classic book features a little boy named Peter who explores the magic and wonder of his neighborhood after the season's first snowfall. After our story, we’ll make a fun wintery craft and enjoy a special treat!

  • November 28, 8:30 a.m. - A Christmas Wish for Corduroy

    Join us for a story time to kick of the holiday season!

    Story time will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Advent Library. We’ll enjoy A Christmas Wish for Corduroy by writers B.G. Hennessy and Don Freeman and illustrated by Jody Wheeler. In this book, Corduroy, lets us know that we are worthy of appreciation and that true friends accept us, flaws and all. After our story, we’ll make a holiday craft and enjoy a special treat!

  • October 24, 8:30 a.m. - Room On The Broom

    Join us for a fun story as we get ready for Halloween!

    Story time will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Advent Library. We’ll enjoy Room on the Broom by writer and playwright Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, which tells the story of a kind witch and her cat who invite three other animals to join them traveling on her broomstick. After our story, we’ll make a Halloween craft and enjoy a special treat!
